Ben Asher Matan

I am a geomorphologist. In my research I am interested in the mechanistic processes that drive the evolution of the earth surface, as well as the impact of climate, tectonics, hydrology, and human activity on these processes. I use a wide range of tools to quantify rates of surface processes including data analysis, numerical modelling, fieldwork and laboratory work. In my current position at the CNRS in the University on Savoie Mont-Blanc I study permafrost dynamics in steep alpine environment.
